フィリピン・オンラインセミナーの資料
7月31日のフィリピンセブ島の貧困について、SDGsを考えるオンラインプログラムでご参加いただいたみなさんから受けた質問をまとめました。
下記で回答している学生は全員が貧困地域に住んでいる子供たちです。元ストリートでホームレスとして暮らしていた子供もいます。プログラム当日に子供たちの英文を訳してお伝えすることができなかったものを下記にお知らせいたします。また、子供たちからのプレゼンテーションの中で、現地の高校の科目に関しても時間の都合で詳しくお伝えすることができませんでした。その詳細（生徒が学んだこと）をここにご案内いたします。
1. Aila
学生として今とても必要としていることは、
対面授業の再開と快適な学習環境です。
パンデミック中の在宅学習は時間を自由に調整できると言う利点がありますが、週に1.5時間のディスカッションでは不十分、インターネットやパソコン等自宅での学習環境が整っていない学生からすれば、継続はとても困難です。
更に私の住む場所はスラム街で、住民の声や騒音が響き、学習中静かにして欲しいと伝える事も出来ず、集中の妨げになります。
2. Charabel
今没頭している趣味は、
本を読んだり運動をしたりすることです。
3. Althea
私が考える最も必要な政府の対策支援は、
“平等な仕事の機会の提供”です。
特にこのパンデミック中、失業により生活が安定せず、十分な食事もとることが出来ない人々が沢山います。
仕事があれば、SDGｓの貧困問題を解決出来ると思います。
学歴や資格だけではなく、その人の能力で仕事を得られるような機会を作ってほしいです。
4. Angel
>> 私が今1番やりたいことは、ファミリービジネスの運営拡大をサポートすることです。
お父さんは仕事を失ってしまい、現在のファミリービジネス(サリサリストア)だけでは、十分な食事や生活必要品を購入するための収入が得られないからです。
また、9月からスタートするクラスに向け、興味のあるテーマ等についてもっと自習がしたいです。
また、その夢をかなえるにあたり、心配事などは？

>> 私の夢は、大学を卒業して土木技師の資格を取り、丈夫な家を建てることです。
勿論この夢を叶えることは簡単なことではありません。
自分自身の能力や学費を賄うことが困難な家計等不安なことは沢山ありますが、これらを克服する方法を見つけていきます。

>> このパンデミック以降、
多くの人々が失業してしまいました。
私の両親も同じです。
混雑した場所は勿論、厳しい規制や外出制限により以前の様に気軽に出歩くことは出来ません。
安全が保障されない生活、本当に全てが変わってしまいました。
7. Charabel
>> パンデミックによりボランティアさんが現地訪問出来ない今、今回のようなオンラインツアーへ参加し、フィリピン特にセブの現状を知ってもらいたいです。
他の人にもこの活動を広めてもらったり、配給食活動へ協力してもらうことも、とても大きなサポートになります。
8. Jojet
>> 平日週末の過ごし方は、基本的にお母さんのお手伝いをしています。
自由な時間がある時はオンラインブックを読んだり睡眠を取ったりしています。
セブの学生さんたちはみんなインターネットを自由に使える環境にあるのですか？
9. Aila
フィリピンでは、誰もが通信環境や機器を持っているわけではありません。インターネットを繋ぐには毎回費用がかかり、学費も含め、特にこのパンデミック中は経済的にとても苦しいです。
多くの学生が大学進学を諦めざるを得ない状況になっています。
幸い、私には両親の後押しがあり、市の奨学金他サポートしてくれる人たちがいます。本当に感謝しています。
10. Althea
皆其々「幸せの基準」はありますが、私の場合は、
全てが揃っていることではなく、今あるものに満足し前進することです。一番大切な幸せは、家族みんなと一緒に暮らせることです。特にこのパンデミック中それ以上は望みません。

現在の食生活は、1食分の量は少なくても、1日3食摂ることが出来ています。
ロックダウン中に比べれば十分です。ロックダウン中は両親が失業し、政府の支援物資も限られているため、10人兄弟の私たちは1日1食の生活をしていました。
12. Jojet
自宅から一番近い公立病院までは、1時間程かかります。
病院へ行く際はまず、役所に連絡をしてサービスカーを手配してもらいます。
病院に到着後、受診治療まで長時間待たされることが殆どです。
私立病院であれば多少対応はスムーズですが、私たちは私立病院を利用するための経済的余裕がないため、ただ我慢して待ちます。
勿論、生死に関わる急患は公立病院でも優先して診てもらうことが出来ます。
13. Xyren
住まいについては、家計の状況等からも今の場所が丁度良く、現時点で移動は考えられませんが、将来良い仕事に就いて、田舎等今の場所から離れたエリア、スラム街ではない安全なエリアに自分の家を建てたいと思っています。
フィリピンの高校科目に関するプレゼンテーション (Jojet)
フィリピンのシニア高校の2年間（11-12）では希望に合わせた進路を選ぶことになります。（日本の総合学科と似てるように感じます。）
進路とは Academic Track ,Sport Track, Art and Design Track, TVL Trackがあります。
Academic にはさらにHUMSS, ABM, STEM, GASを選択することができます。
(1) Accountancy, Business and Management （ABM 経済・経営学）
(2) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics （STEM 工学系）
(3) General Academic Strand （GAS 進学の進路をまだ決めていない生徒のために他のコースからいろいろとることができる。）
(4) Humanities and Social Sciences （HUMSS 文学部）
そのなかでJOJETが選択したHUMSSではどんな科目があるかを紹介します。
フィリピンの高校は2学期制です。

それぞれの科目に関するJojetからの内容説明、そしてどのようなことを学んだかを下記します。残念ながらこの1年間以上通学での授業を受けることができていないため、プリントによる授業となっており、先生からいろいろお話を聞ける機会はありませんでした。仕事体験（インターン）もできていません。
＊＊Physical Education and Health
-What I learned about this subject is the important of training ourselves when it comes to physically fit and valuing our movement in exercise that we all know exercise is really important in our body.
＊＊Personal Development
-What I learned about this subject; this subject help me realized that developing our personality is very important like in our modules they let us do some activities that improves our talents and develop our skills. This subjects also discussed the importance of our life and they give advices on how should we manage our dreams in life.
＊＊Contemporary arts
– this subject made me realized that value of arts in our life. This made me learn that when doing arts it just like your making some conversation but in an art style. For example, you decided to draw heart so you draw your heart with red color in a paper and you know in yourself that this heart is the definition of love. (Demonstrate)
＊＊Media and Information Literacy
– what I have learned in this subject is how should we use the media in a good way that we also need to respect the media because when using media we can also hurt someone’s feelings if we abuse it.
＊＊Practical research 2
– what I have learned in this subject is how should we gather some data about our chosen topic. This is called thesis in College, this course aims to develop our mind about the things or situations that are happening in our world and you can use that to make a topic then you can think of a solution to that problem that you think can help to develop our society.
＊＊FILIPINO SA PILING LARANG (Filipino in selected fields)
-What I have learned in this subject, this module talks about some filipino words and it also taught here some traits, values, characteristics, quality about Filipino people.
＊＊CREATIVE WRITING
-what I have learned about this subject is that this all about writing, this subject discusses about how to improve our writing skills, how can we make a poetry. This subject is fit for those people who love writing stories and poetry, and they imagine their creativity by writing their works.
＊＊Community engagement
-What I have learned about this subject is how importance communication is. How should we communicate with people around us and what traits and values should we implement when communicating to someone. In order for that to create an effective solution everytime we encounter some problem.
＊＊Empowerment technology
-What I have learned about this subject is how should we properly use the different technologies we have right now such as mobile phones, telephone, computer and other devices that locate, save, can use to communicate and can help for information.
＊＊English for Academic and Professional Purposes
-what I have learned about this subject is how can we improve our english vocabulary, this also discussed and help us to develop our grammar, our reading and writing.
＊＊ENTREPRENEURSHIP
-What I have learned about this subject is that this is basically fit for those people who really want to build their own business and It teaches us how to be a business minded person.
＊＊3i’s (Inquires, Investigation and Immersion)
-Inquires, Investigation and Immersion or 3i’s what I have learned about this subject, this subject is like a practical research where I also experienced researching. This subject discussed about the basic knowledge of what research really is, and how it works to make sure that what we experience is we really accomplish it.
＊＊CREATIVE NONFICTION
-this subject discusses about writing a nonfiction stories, this subject is all about writing or gathering facts or truth topics, what really interesting about this subject is that writers are also encourage to become part of the story or essay that being written.
＊＊Trends
-This subject is all about the things that are trending right now in our generation, like tiktok. This also discuss about a person who starts the trend is called trend setter. This also mention a lot of websites that can spread some information about the things that are happening right now.
＊＊Work Immersion
-this subject is one of the requirements for graduation. Through work Immersion we can experience to work on our dream jobs and let us familiarize the environment of our dream job but because of this pandemic we didn’t experience that instead our teacher gave us a project for our section and we planned to make a game show and participation is really important so that we could receive a high grade.
